In 1998 I purchased Ultimate Mail Manager 1.0. Is this new version the same one?

There are two versions of the software. Version 1.0 and version 6.0. Basically, the new version is not the same as 1.0 but there is a problem: it is possible that the new version is developed by other company. The latest version is 1.0b and it's compatible with all operating systems.
