Error while running the uTorrent Notifier

I am running Windows 7 Pro x64 and I'm getting the following error when I try to run this program. Any thoughts?

Newtonsoft.Json.JsonReaderException: Unexpected character encountered while parsing value:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer rather than be handled by this dialog box.

This behavior is mostly determined by encountering an internal error of the application. According to some discussions over the GitHub website, this is a common error encountered by uTorrent Notifier users. To fix it, try updating the program to the latest version released. Take into account that the developer isn't supporting this application anymore.
