I updated my computer to a new and more reliable system. I saved my Quicken Cashbook files on a CD. I downloaded the Quicken software on my new system and tried to restore the saved work from the CD, but it doesn't work. We can restore it but straight after there comes up an error message "The file can not be opened". Can anyone tell us how to fix this?

In order to restore a file, you need to go to File > Restore Backup File > Local Backup select your file and press OK. This only works if you previously saved your work by using File > Export > Desktop Super option. In this matter, it's advised to download and read the following Instruction manual that the developer made it available on the following website.
