How does one assign a logical channel to a talk group? This process does not seem to work the same as with the Gold Elite API. The logical channel number received with a PTT indication message does not map to the correct talk group. In the Gold Elite process the program is registered to get a client ID. The data base is queried to get talk group resource IDs. The resource ID is assigned to the client ID with LCID = 0, but no assignment response is returned. If non-zero is used the LCID number does not map to the proper talkgroup name (alias).

There are a few guides and tutorials that you can obtain through the Google Search search engine. For example, the MotorolaSolutions website provides information about this logger. I recommend you access that website to find additional information about the way this logger is working. Unfortunately, no other solution could be found for this device and its issues. However, on the Motorola Solutions website, get in contact with the developers. They will offer extensive support for the device you already have.
