NBA 2K11 takes advantage of the DirectX and Direct Sound driver. It is always recommended to install the latest version of DirectX and the latest version of the drivers for your sound card. Sound card drivers can be found on the developer's page for your motherboard (if it's integrated) or from the website manufacturer.
