How can I play Age of Empires III on my computer? It is saying that my Windows version is not compatible.

Did you crack? If you did then perhaps it does not meet minimum system requirements.

In order to run Age of Empires III, your computer needs to meet the following minimum system requirements:

• CPU: Pentium III or Athlon equivalent with 1.4 GHz;
• RAM: 256 MB;
• OS: Windows XP;
• Video Card: 64 MB video card with support for Hardware Transformation and Lighting;
• Free Hard Disk Space: 2 GB.

If you’re using Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8, right-click the game launcher, select Properties and navigate to the Compatibility tab. Check Run this program in compatibility mode for box, select Windows XP from the drop-down list, click Apply and then OK.
