Installing Microsoft Private Folder on a custom partition of HDD

This program was installed automatically by my OS (XP Profession) on the partition C: of my hard disk and, consequently, the secret folder was created of the same partition C:. I want to create the secret folder on a external USB-hard disk (e.g. My Passport Essential). Please provide me a useful procedure.

You cannot create the folder on another location because this is the way the application was developed. The user can move files to the special folder but they cannot move its location to another partition or folder. It's a limitation which may affect other computer processes. As an alternative, try using Folder Lock which allows you to lock folders where you want to.
