In order to fix the issue, press Windows + Pause/Break key combination and open Device Manager. Expand the Disk Drives list, right-click on the driver and select Uninstall. After that, reboot your computer, press Scan for hardware changes icon on Device Manager and wait for Windows to retrieve the drivers. If it doesn't work, go to Start, type regedit and open the utility. Navigate to HKEY-LOCAL-MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control > Class > {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} and delete the UpperFilters and LowerFilters from the right pane. If it doesn't help, check the Microsoft Support page for further solution.
If the problem is not related to your CD/DVD drive, I suggest you update RealPlayer to the latest version. If none of these solve the problem, you need to contact your CD supplier and request a new one.
