The Premium version of Encarta allows you to solve equations with the help of the tools available from the Maths module. Since the program features an engine of its own to solve the equations, you still have to input those equations. Use the tools in the Maths module and enter the equations and problems. You have to make sure the formulas are accurate for the program to process them correctly. In some cases, the final result is explained, but this works only for simple equations. For a more advanced version of math solving equations, I recommend MathWay. Access the website, input the equation and it will be solved automatically.
