How can I hear my digital piano performings with my Windows Media Player?

My digital piano Roland uses smf music files with software midi. When I pass my performing from the piano to my computer (Windows Vista Home) I can't hear any sound. How can I solve this problem?

Try to install a set of codecs because WMP does't know how to play MIDI files. Install Combined Community Codec Pack and then you can play MIDI files using Windows Media Player.
