I have a JVC HD camcorder and use the Powercinema NE for Everio program to burn video to DVDs. The date does not transfer to the DVD when created. Is there something that I am doing wrong or does this program not allow for that function. (The date is present when watching video on computer and on camcorder).

You have to check the configurations of the camcorder. Access the setup menu through the OSD menu and make sure that the date is embedded into the videos you transfer. I have tried this operation and it works normally without any errors. Technically, there shouldn't be any problem with the video transfer process to the DVD, but if you keep having errors, then use another application to transfer the videos. For this purpose, I recommend using Ashampoo Burning Studio. This is the software I have used to burn a video from the camcorder to the DVD Disc. It also matters the way you choose the DVD type. Make sure that you use Data DVD instead of the DVD Video.
