What can I do after the "Recording finished" message?

After about 60 seconds I get the "Recording finished" message. What can I do?

After you finish the recording process, you will be asked if you want to record more music and you will be able to choose between Yes or No. Also, you can select Listen to play the recorded files in the EZ Vinyl/Tape Converter's built-in music player. Although the software worked fine on my Windows 7 laptop, I received the "recording finished" message after one minute on my Windows 8 desktop. Eventually I discovered that even the one minute recording was faint and muffled. I then re-tried and found that at level 5 the meters were not moving !! When I amended the microphone sensitivity from 5 (the recommended value) to the 35 (The value recommended for Vista !!),the recording was much clearer and as a bonus I did not get the "recording finished" message.
Perhaps the software is designed to finish early if the meters do not move.
