When i turn off my navigon it go into stand by mode ,how can i stop this when i wont it to shut down

When i turn off my navigon it go into stand by mode ,how can i stop this when i wont it to shut down

When you press the button to switch off your Navigon the following appears on the screen:

The device will switch to standby mode in a few seconds
Standby Off

If you tap the word Off quickly before those few seconds are up the device will switch off instead of going into Standby.
