Problems with my computer sound.

I'm facing some problems. My sound function is not working. I checked the device driver and it's showing that the device is working fine. Should I reinstall the driver? I'm using Windows Vista Home Edition Service Pack 2.

Yes, you should reinstall the driver. Just press Windows + Pause/Break key combination and open Device Manager. Expand the Sound, video and game controllers list, right-click on the audio driver and select Uninstall. Reboot your computer, press Scan for hardware changes icon from Device Manager and reinstall the drivers.
