Does Desktop Macros work in the background?

Question

I am looking for a mousing macro program that will remember the webpage I'm on but keep working while I have other programs on top.

I may even move the browser around, shrink or minimize it while the macros are working.

Can Desktop Macros work that way? I am just trying to keep from being timed-out by the website so it's minimal clicking every 20 minutes or less.

Desktop Macros has the ability to record everything, from mouse clicks to movements and keystrokes. However, it will work on the active screen and not in the background. I don't think there is an application that can work with an out of focus window. For the browser I recommend iMacros. It's an excellent plug-in which has the recording capability and the possibility to run in the background with an out of focus tab.
