Is this Belvedere update legit?

I can't find the download for Belvedere 1.0 anywhere so I was wondering if it was indeed legitimate?

Since Belvedere is a LifeHacker exclusive application, you need to visit their website in order to download it. The developer is an active user of the website and he choose to make the entry on Lifehacker as his exclusive homepage.
