Which is better for my home PC, Internet Explorer 7 or Internet Explorer 8?

Internet Explorer is better of course.

Definitely Internet Explorer 8 is better because it is the successor of Internet Explorer 7. It contains all features of Internet Explorer 7, plus some new options for regular users and developers. Both versions of the application can run only on Windows XP platforms and below. If you're using a newer platform, I recommend you download and install Internet Explorer 11.
