I moved a hard drive from an Intel board to a MSI board. Desktop Utilities was part of the startup but it doesn't work on non-Intel boards. The problem is that uninstall doesn't work on non-Intel machines and I can't seem to stop it from trying to run when I boot. What to do?

Try using Revo Uninstaller. Even if it can't uninstall the application normally, it will force it to uninstall by wiping out all traces of its presence from the system.

After this process, go to Start > Run > type msconfig and locate the Startup tab. Locate IDU in the list and uncheck it. Next time it will not start anymore.
