First, use VirusTotal online utility to scan the installation package. If it is infected delete the software and download and install another FLV player from Software Informer database. If it is clean, uninstall and reinstall FLV Direct Player.
In order to fix the browser issue, launch it, press Ctrl + Shift + Delete key combination and clear all cache, cookies and temporary Internet files. If it doesn't help, go to your browser options and disable all add-ons. If you still have some issues, uninstall and reinstall the browser.
