PL2303 driver for USB to Serial

I am using PL2303ProlificDriverInstaller_v1210 driver and can't get it work with a SIM backup USB device. Has anyone used it for the similar purpose?

I have found websites listed through the Google Search results that have this module as a backup manager application for SIM cards. I recommend checking the websites of the result list. There is also a tutorial video you can use to see how the backup procedure needs to be done.
