The Recovery will create a backup of the whole computer. However, the disks used should be around 3, maxim 4. One will be with the operating system, another one with the applications bundled in Windows, and the final one with the applications that are used by the Acer or just a DVD with drivers. The whole process shouldn't take more than 1 HOUR (subject to change based on the number of files and writing speed as well as computer's performance).
