First, upgrade the browser to the latest version and open it. Press the Safety tab and un-check the ActiveX Filtering option. If it doesn't work, go to Tools > Internet Options > Programs > Manage Add-ons and select Run without Permissions from the left. Make sure that Shockwave Active X Control, Shockwave Flash Object, Java Plug-in, QuickTime Plug-in, Windows Media Player or any other similar add-ons are enabled and update Java, Flash and Silverlight to the latest versions.
