Cannot convert some AVI files.

Question

I get an error when trying to convert some AVI files. I used GSPOT to see if there were any weird codecs used for the AVI but they were no different from the ones that were able to convert to MP4. What are the file requirements or restrictions?

The application is working just fine. You just need to use a standard AVI file encoded with one of the known codecs. However, there is the possibility of compatibility issues and since the application is using FFMPEG codec, you can download it and update ffmpeg.exe file manually.

Download a Windows build, extract the ffmpeg.exe and overwrite the one from conversion utility in its installation folder C:\Program Files\Convert AVI to MP4\
