I have successfully converted 2 files from my ICD-ST25 from a .dvf format to .mp3. They were both ST files. On my third attempt, an LP format, while I get a new file with an .mp3 extension, when I go to play the file I get an error message stating that "The file has an extension that does not match the file format." What can I do to fix this?

Although the application successfully converted the file, it's possible the headers were altered therefore recognition in audio players is impossible. My advice is to convert the format to something else other than MP3 and see if the file will play correctly then convert again to MP3. It's a workaround but it should work as it does in these situations.
