Recently I got up with a virus. I neglected the virus and logged on to Windows and launched Windows Setup.

Recently I got up with a virus. I neglected the virus and logged on to Windows and launched Windows Setup. When I rerun the Windows setup again later my CD is found to be virus infected, but I had a duplicate CD. How can I check the virus infected file?

Insert the CD into the CD/DVD drive and then install ComboFix or AdwCleaner. If Norton is not able to detect the virus, then one of these two applications will do it. However, start Norton and perform a full scan of the computer and CD. At the end of the scan process, the results will tell you if there is a virus on your computer/CD, or not.
