Yesterday I tried to download an update to my current Norton subscription and instead I got what appears to be a new Norton with a 35 day trial period. I don't want that. I still have plenty of months remaining on my current Norton subscription. I want my old subscription back.
The update to a newer version is commercial. If you want to use your old subscription, remove the application entirely and re-install it using your old software package but don't update. This is the only way to preserve the license.
