You have to clear all the networks from the Wireless utility. This means you will have to delete all the networks saved within the application. Secondly, connect to your router and set WPA 2 Personal. Choose Protocol Encryption as Auto, and assign a password with alpha numberic characters. Initiate the connection again and it should work. Make sure to also switch the wireless mode (b,g,n), if you still have issues connecting.
