I have a Samsung NetBook (with the Intel Atom processor) and Windows 7. Will Trivial Pursuit run without any problems?

The application was designed for Windows 98 and Windows XP. There shouldn't be any problems running in Windows 7, but if you encounter any error, there is always Windows XP Mode you can use to install the game.

Trivial Pursuit Genus Edition Deluxe was not officially released for Windows 7, however, there is a possibility to make it work using virtualization. You can use VirtualBox to install Windows XP in a virtual machine inside your Windows 7 environment and run it from there. The application was designed for Windows 98 and Windows XP.
