Firstly, launch iTunes and select Add File to Library or Add Folder to Library from the File menu. Navigate to your songs and open them in iTunes. After that, connect the iPod to your computer using the USB cable, and select it from the Devices list. If you can't see the Devices list, press Ctrl + S key combination to open the Sidebar. Press the Music tab, check the box next to Sync Music, select the songs you want to add and click Apply. If the device is not recognized by your computer/iTunes, check the solutions provided by Apple Support team.

What iPod are you using?
Shuffle, Nano or Touch?

It is confirmed that iPod shuffle, iPod classic and iPod nano are not able to sync Apple Music, only iPod touch can.
If you are using Shuffle or Nano, you need to convert iTunes music to MP3 firstly (you can do it with the help of Apple Music converter) and then copy the music files to your iPod.

I am using Tunelf Spotify Music Converter to downloaded Spotify songs in MP3 and then use iTunes to transfer Spotify music to iPod Shuffle.

1.Import Spotify songs to iTunes
Open iTunes on your computer. And import the downloaded Spotify songs in MP3 or AAC format into iTunes library by clicking the top menu File > Add File to Library.
2.Connect iPod to iTunes
Plug iPod nano, classic or shuffle into PC via USB cable. In iTunes, click on the iPod icon to load the info of your iPod model.
3.Sync Spotify music to iPod
Click "Music" > "Sync Music" > "Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres". Under "Playlists", check "Recently Added" where the downloaded Spotify songs are saved. Then hit the "Apply" button and the Spotify tracks will be automatically synced to your iPod as expected.

Step 1. Connect your iPod with iTunes.
Step 2. Go to "Music" > "Sync Music" > "selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres". In the "Playlists" section, choose "Recently added".
Step 3. Click "Apply" and iTunes will sync the songs to your iPods.
But if your songs are from Apple Music or are protected, you need to convert to MP3 with TunesKit Audio Converter if your iPod is not iPod touch.
