Try reinstalling iTunes, it will cause Apple Mobile Device Support to install by default. It's recommended to remove old version and all Apple product from your computer before doing this step, but it's OK to overwrite the installed files. The setup package will install all the necessary files and services back to their places in case they were deleted.
