First, in order to fix the issue, press press Windows + Pause/Break key combination and open the Device Manager from the right corner. After that, expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers and Imaging Devices lists and look for the scanner. Once you locate it, right-click on the driver and select Uninstall. After that, reboot your PC, connect the scanner using the USB cable and reinstall the drivers from the provided CD. If it still doesn't work, you will need to purchase a new 35mm Film Scanner USB cable.
