First, try to see if other computer is able to read the disk. If it can read it, right-click on Computer icon, select Manage, go to Device Manager and update the drivers from Disk Drivers section. Also, go to Start, type regedit and open the Registry Editor. Navigate to HKEY-LOCAL-MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control > Class > {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} and delete the UpperFilters and LowerFilters from right pane. Click OK and restart your computer. If the problem is not solved, try to run the utility provided by Microsoft. Click the Run now option, save the file to your PC and follow the provided instructions.
