My MP3 Player has been working perfectly for over a year. The other night when I plugged the player in to charge, it displayed "USB connected" and it worked to charge, but my computer has not detected that the player is plugged in, and Samsung Media Studio does not allow me to transfer songs to it (or even click the "Portable" button). Also, Windows Media Player 10/11 is not detecting it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Samsung Media Studio several times and used different USB ports on my PC without success. Can you help me?

In order to fix the issue, right-click the Computer/My Computer icon, select Manage and open Device Manager. Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers list, uninstall the driver, reboot the computer, connect the device using the USB cable, press Scan for hardware changes icon from Device Manager and wait for Windows to retrieve the drivers. If you still have issues, run the Fix It utility developed to diagnose and fix USB related problems and check the troubleshooting guide provided by Microsoft. Also, you can use the support@samsung.com email address or 1-800-726-7864 phone number to get in touch with Samsung Support team.
