I am unable to open and play WMV attachments.
The WMV attachments should be compatible with the Windows Media Player application. This means you should either open the WMV file with Windows Media Player or install a new set of codecs. The Combined Community Codec Pack should be more than enough to enable playback for the files you have. Alternatively, install VLC Media Player to enable seamless playback without codecs.
