How do I add the music that I downloaded to my iPod Nano?

You will need to install iTunes in order to add the music to your iPod. Download and install iTunes then connect the iPod and let the computer install it. After the installation finished, drag the music to the one of the libraries and click on the iPod's name. Select Music tab and then press Sync to sync your files to the iPod.
