I'm having troubles installing Microsoft Office. I receive "The application has failed to start because msi.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem" message. I tried without success many times.

First, in order to to fix the issue, go to Start, type cmd and open the application using Administrator rights. Type sfc /scannow and press the Enter key. After that, run a virus scan of your entire system using your security program or one from Software Informer database. If the problem persists and you're using Windows XP or below, update Windows Installer using the package provided by Microsoft. If you're using Windows Vista or above, update it through Windows Update. As an alternative, you can try to run Dll-Files Fixer which is developed to solve all major .dll related problems. If you still have issues, I suggest you get in touch with Microsoft Support Team.
