I use Windows 7 and have used Vista before. Recently got a new PC with Windows 7. When I want to play Silent Hunter 4 I encounter constant white noise with occasional high pitched sounds.

I use Windows 7 and have used Vista before. Recently got a new PC with Windows 7. When I want to play Silent Hunter 4 I encounter constant white noise with occasional high pitched sounds. My drivers are up-to-date. This problem is also with Silent Hunter 3 when using Vista or Windows 7. There is no problem on my old PC when I used XP. Any help is appreciated as I am lost now and the problem is ruining game play. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help.

To eliminate these errors try installing the game to a folder like C:\Ubisoft\SilentHunter. Avoid spaces and Program Files installation folder.
