In order to fix the issue, remove the software using Add or Remove Programs feature, press Ctrl + R key combination, type devmgmt.msc and click OK. Locate your printer driver, right-click on its icon and select Uninstall. Reboot your computer, navigate to Epson Download Center, identify your printer model, select Windows XP as operating system and download and install the latest files available. Also, update Windows Installer to the latest version. If the problem persists I suggest you contact the support team.
