To fix this problem, start the HP Center application, the one that's installed along with the drivers. Start the application, then locate the Maintenance mode and do all the available tests. Before this, make sure the print cartridges are in their place and everything is properly fixed. In the Maintenance section, do all the tests related to printing test, alignment (most important!) and other things that are available. If you still have issues after this procedure, I recommend replacing the printing cartridges, then repeat the Maintenance tests.
