I'm trying to install my new FSX since I lost my previous CD's. I accidentally deleted all FSX files from the Program Files folder and now when I try to install my new FSX, it gives me an error saying that I already have a later version of FSX installed on my machine. When I try to uninstall FSX, I receive the same error. What can I do?

In order to fix the issue, remove Microsoft Flight Simulator X using Revo Uninstaller. Even if it can't uninstall the application normally, it will force it to uninstall by wiping out all traces of its presence from the system.

After that, try running CCleaner or Glary Utilities to make sure that there are no leftover registry keys in your system and install Microsoft Flight Simulator X again.
