You can't play DVDs in HP QuickPlay because the application is corrupted or you don't have the corresponding version installed on your laptop. HP QuickPlay also known as DVD Play software is designed to play DVDs movies or music CDs on your notebook. There are 3 different versions of the application. If you have installed the wrong version, the program will not work properly. In order to download and install the correct version for your laptop, you need to uninstall the program. Go to Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, select the HP QuickPlay application and click on Uninstall. After the process is complete, go to HP drivers web page, type in your laptop model number in the Find my product and get support box, select your model and operating system, select HP QuickPlay and follow the instructions.
