Updating the AVG antivirus

I've been trying to update my antivirus for several days but it seems that there are no updates available for the version I'm using. I'm running AVG Free 8.5.385. Can you help?

Does AVG 9 work with Windows 7 ?

If the antivirus doesn't detect an update, it means that at that time there were no updates available for your version. Now, if you want, you can remove the antivirus using AVG Remover tool and then download and install the latest version manually.
