How do I change my default e-mail from Outlook to Gmail?

In order to make Gmail your default e-mail program, download and install Google Gmail Notifier application, click on the Gmail Notifier icon in the Windows system tray, go to Options, check the Use Gmail for internet mailto: links box and click OK.
