Your error may be caused by some missing files. Install again the application in order to solve the problem and try to remove the software through Add/Remove Programs feature.
If the error persist, try to remove the application using Revo Uninstaller. Even if it can't uninstall the application normally, it will force it to uninstall by wiping out all traces of its presence from the system.
