Free Download Manager starts the downloading process by itself.

I have a problem. I can't start a downloading. Free Download Manager starts the process by itself. What should I do?

If you mean that FDM automatically starts when you click the download-link in your browser that can be prevented by disabling "browser monitoring" (right-click the FDM icon in the notification area and clear the check-box). If you are saying that FDM stalls or stops when you try to download, it is either a problem with the link (the source may be nonexistent) or the site cuts off download accelerators such as FDM you can try remedy this by letting FDM disguise itself as a browser options > settings > Downloads >New Download > Advanced ... Protocol >

In order to fix the problem, open the application, select Settings from the Option menu and then press the Monitoring tab. After that, uncheck the boxes next to Internet Explorer and Firefox:

If you still have problems, open the Add-ons page of your browser and disable the plugin.
