Problems downloading files.

I have been using an older version of FDM, 2.1 I think, for some time. All was well until today. Now I try to download something and I get all the right screens, but instead of the name of the download I get a number and the download is complete 100% in about a second, then on opening there is nothing there. I have now uninstalled the older version and replaced with the new version FDM 3.0 build 848, but the same thing is happening.

The problem might not be related to the FDM, instead it's caused by the server from where you're downloading the files from. You will have to try downloading the files without the FDM first and watch the behavior. If the files are downloading normally, then the server refuses download managers. I am using FDM and I've never had any problems with it, but I do recommend installing the current version available on its website.
