I'm using Windows Media Player. How do I stop the automatic video download?

You can't download videos with Windows Media Player. It only can automatically download track names, album art, etc. To stop this go to Organize (from the main menu) > Options > Library tab and uncheck Retrieve additional information from the Internet.
