Downloading updates for Avast 4.8.

How can I download updates of Avast 4.8 installed on my PC through Download Accelerator Plus.

Avast cannot be updated via DAP .You can download a newer version setup via DAP.

Once you download and enable Download Accelerator Plus within your web browser, navigate to Avast Download Center, click the blue Download button next to Avast VPS update for version 4.8.0 and follow the on-screen instructions. Download Accelerator Plus will pick up automatically the download and will save the file to your computer.
