I have lost my photos from Picasa. How can I find them?
try searching your computer for just the kind of file your photos used. for example, if they were all in .jpg format, do a search for *.jpg and they should show up if they're still there.
If you can't find the photos, launch Picasa and select Options from the Tools menu. Click the File Types and verify if you checked the boxes for all the formats you'd like Picasa to display. Also, make sure that the folder with your files can be watched. Open Folder Manager from the Tools menu and select Scan Always if you see a red X, or a green check-mark.
