Can FDM resume a download from a different internet connection?

I was in an internet cafe and got 46% through downloading a 287mb file, when the wife said I had to leave. Now I am in a different location, I have tried to resume the download from the point it stopped at. The only option I can see is to restart the download completely.
Is there a way of resuming it?

It depends on download type. If the server you downloaded your file does support resuming (most of them) - you can continue from that point. Otherwise you should download it from the beginning.

If fdm says no resume report just right click and select change url and paste the link from where you got it because if you paste the same link it is currently using it wont work..thanks for the clapsss

I have one question. I downloaded one game and it wrote no resume support.
And the question is, what URL should I copy and paste as a new one?

to make it more clear, go to the website and copy a new link url from the same game that you are going to play. if you dont know how to change URL, right click the game that has no resume support and you will see CHANGE URL, click on it you will have to delete the url and enter a new url from the same game you are going to download once that is done you should be able to download now!!!!

All you have to do is paste is right-click and change URL and paste a different link, it doesn't matter what link, then resume. It would say "No resume support" again. So change back the URL to the original download link then resume and it would work perfectly fine. :)

If you download from Google Drive, then there should be an opportunity to download, even though FDM wrote that the download is not supported.
You just need to open the page with the file in the browser again and click on the download for FDM to intercept the download. Then you will update the download data (new URL and cookies) and will be able to download.

To be more specific ,close that tab from where you have copied the link. Again open that website and then copy the link and change the url. It works completely fine. Thanks.
